More and more formal and informal sources of EHR information are popping up on the Internet.
Some interesting sites:
HIStalk – an annonymously authored Blog with daily “insider type” updates
EMRupdate – a forum populated primarily by physicians, consultants and vendors. Has a decidedly anti-CCHIT theme.
EHRConsultant – site with a forum, blog and tools to help providers choose an EHR system. Dr. Fishman also produces a publication, EHR Scope.
Software Advice – a more general site about software that also includes a blog and tools to help providers select an EHR system.
HHS – obviously the government’s site but with information on Medicare sponsored EHR programs.
CCHIT – list of CCHIT certified vendors by year, certification requirements and more information.
